Zero tolerance
“Mithaq - Muslim Marriage” (developer Alaa Albayed) is for adults only and exists for marriage. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any such content or behaviour is removed, its author is permanently banned, and it is reported to the competent authorities.
What we prohibit
- Any image, text or message that shows a minor (under 18) in a sexual context or sexualises a minor, including CSAM in any form.
- Grooming minors, befriending them with intent to abuse, or trying to contact them.
- Sextortion, human trafficking and any exploitation of children.
- Offering a minor for marriage, arranging the marriage of a minor, or seeking a minor as a spouse.
- Sharing links or ways to access such content outside the app.
Adults only
- Registration requires a date of birth showing the member is 18 or older; anyone younger is refused.
- A profile created by a guardian or relative must be for an adult, with their knowledge.
- Any account suspected of belonging to a minor is suspended immediately and deleted once confirmed.
- Our team reviews text before it is published and photos after upload, and hides anything that breaks the rules.
How to report
By email: write to alaa.albayed2016@gmail.com with the subject “بلاغ سلامة طفل” (child safety report). Include the member’s display name, country and city, a description of what you saw and when, and a screenshot of the profile or conversation if possible.
Do not send the abusive images themselves, and do not keep or share them — just describe them and we will take it from there.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local police right away. You can also report to NCMEC’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or to the hotline in your country through the INHOPE network.
How we handle reports
- Child safety reports have the highest priority and are reviewed by our team within 24 hours of arrival.
- We suspend the reported account immediately whenever a report is credible, and hide the content from everyone.
- We remove the violating content, permanently ban the account and prevent its owner from returning.
- We preserve evidence as the law requires and report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the competent authorities in the relevant country.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests through the proper legal process.
Compliance with the law
We comply with applicable child safety laws, including reporting child sexual abuse material to the competent authorities, and we review these standards whenever the service or the law changes. See also our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
